Pinpoint magazine was the publication of Disability West Midlands. It was first published as a modest looking newsletter in 1981 during International Year of Disabled People by the organisation which at that time was known as the West Midlands Council of Disabled People based in Moseley, Birmingham.
The publication went through many different phases and had a number of different editors and editorial boards. Below are four front covers published between 2000 and 2003. Three of these editions had a disability history theme whilst the other marked the death of Ian Dury in 2000.
